We read an article this week about wasting 2 minutes (Waste 2 Minutes? Don’t Sweat It). What caught our attention was the first part of the article which tells a story of how one person’s actions can affect many people. Take a look at the article and think about times where you may have tried to take the shortcut to save 2 minutes. Or times when you rushed a caller off the phone to save 2 minutes. Or when you showed up late for a meeting to save 2 minutes on something else. We could list more examples but I think we all get the point. Now think about these 2 minutes you saved and how that affected other people around you whether it’s a customer or a coworker. Just something to think about today… What you do to save 2 minutes will affect others around you. Make sure the impact is a positive one.
