I heard a great story this morning from one of my favorite bankers. It goes like this… There is a man running for the U.S. Senate named Joe Miller that had only 8% name recognition in his state just a few months ago. His competitor, a U.S. Senator and long-time politician in that state had 98% name recognition. What did Joe Miller do? He called on his advocates, Sarah Palin and Mike Huckabee. The result? Joe Miller won the primary election over his opponent and is now leading in the race to be Alaska’s next Senator. What a difference a few advocates make. Lesser known politicians on the Democrat side often call on Bill Clinton as their advocate. Here’s the point, in case you were just sleeping… Advocates are the difference between average and remarkable.
Thanks for the story Buddy!
