Still refuse to use a cell phone? This “email” stuff is a fad, I’m sticking with the fax machine! Still playing 8-track tapes instead of mp3’s? Wi-Fi and High-Def… what’s that? If my customers want it they’ll ask for it!

Are you clinging to the status quo? Banking is changing. Banking has changed. If you don’t adapt to relationship banking you’ll soon find out you’ve gone the way of the 8-track tape player. Who are the “Uns”? The “Un’s” are easy to spot. I did a meeting yesterday, discussing phone standards, with several managers on the webcast and not one manager had a comment during the presentation. They were “Un”responsive and their results are “Un”impressive. The “Uns” say, we’ve always done it that way! The “Uns” have yet to implement a deposit acquisition strategy in their bank or branch.

Remember, “Un” can be highly contagious. If you remain “Un”adaptable or you hang around those that are “Un”adaptable, your “Un” and their “Un” just might spread and infect other areas…
