We came across this article from Fox Business over the weekend titled, How Swearing At Work Could Ruin Your Career. Interesting article, but seriously, if you don’t have enough sense not to swear at work or don’t realize the negative impact and impression it has on coworkers and your boss, then you simply don’t get it. What’s really sad is that I even heard a senior manager, at a bank of all places, swearing in front of several employees recently. Bottom line is this, people judge you by the words you use. Poor grammar, inappropriate jokes or comments, and swearing will all get you to the same place… a dead-end career, the unemployment line or leave you wondering why no one takes you seriously.
