Take a few minutes to read this article we came across today titled, “Newsflash: Facebook isn’t real life“. It’s a great article on watching vs doing. As you read it, think about what you’re doing today. Are you proactively doing… by getting out and building your business or department, growing relationships and improving yourself and those around you? Or are you reactively watching… by being the manager who puts out so-called fires each day as they arise in your department, by being the leader who likes to lead until it’s actually time to lead or by being the employee who is just getting through the day collecting a check?
Watching or Doing. Reactive or Proactive. Just a few things to think about and then hopefully DO something about.
